Now time for a really important video...........

nah, heres some normal, unfunny music.........
Soon there will be change!

Also there will be a mini review of the year.

But for now, something to fill the awkward silence.......

Mike Posner - Open Up Your Eyes (Gigamesh & DiscoTech Remix)

Tokyo Police Club - Wait Up (Boots Of Danger) (RAC Remix) * Kinda old, but i love it

Gigi Barocco - Where Is It (Aniki Remix)

Robyn - Indestructible (A-Trak Remix)
** Faultless

Joe And Will Ask? - Fabric Of Win (Radio Edit)

Steve Aoki & Sidney Samson - Wake Up Call
*Aoki is basically collabing with every 'electro' producer going atm. Please, let it continue.

Munk - Down in L.A (Shazam Remix)

The Knocks - Dancing With The DJ (Monsieur Adi Remix) ***Awesome, my fav of the remixes so far

Steed Lord - Dont Hurt Love

Q.
I can only apologize for the lack of posts recently. Life has very much gotten in the way.

The new year will see a return to the steady flow of awesomeness that you expect from such a blog. A new face is ready to expound her musical mind into the Borgian blogosphere, that we all attempt to navigate. With her own unique input, to help, or to hinder.... But more music and much more variety, can only be a good thing.

I'll just site back and enjoy the ride ;)

All in all, expect more new music in the weeks to come...

For now, my favorite band of the year.....

Q.
Remember when all the kids were talking about Klaxons?

Well, it seems any edgyness they may have lost musically, they're trying to get back with this weird, but unavoidably watchable, new video for their latest single 'Twin Flames'.

Not sure what to make of it yet... weird for weirds sake doesnt always work.....

Q.
Know when you post songs that kinda, soundtrack your current state of mind? Well, you could say that about this.....

Starsmith - Give Me A Break

Posts are lacking in number due to life. Being a bitch. And so,

Q.
Thanks Pitchfork!

Cool colours and cooler shapes....pretty much all i need from a music video...

Bit late on this, but i doo like the teasers....

Life has the nasty habit of getting in the way of things i actually enjoy doing.....

Like sharing music!

Phoenix - Everything Is Everything

Normal posting may resume shortly.....it may not. But there's a fair chance it might....

Q.

New Crystal Castles!

Wow this is awesome. For so many reasons!

Q.
Waited long enough on this.

I'm seeing Lee Mortimer on Friday night, along with Kissy Sell Out, both undoubtedly, will be playing more stuff from these guys.

Art Vs Science - Parlez Vous Francais (Lee Mortimer Remix) ***Too slow! only put it up for 24 hours. The late comers can get it from Beatport now!

Q.
Any excuse to post up house music. Especially french house music. Especially french house music made by the stupidly young and stupidly talented Louis La Roche.

So, uhm yh, guess the excuse.......

Louis La Roche - Missing You Ft. Ad-Adpt

Q.

YEAH!

I've been looking for this track for ages. Well, since i heard being played all over Bestival earlier this year.

Its huge, its ridiculous, its a heavy ass dubstep remix, of a classically heavy ass original. And i flippin love it....

Why isn't this all over the blogosphere!?

Nirvana - Smells Like Teen Spirit (Dual Remix)

Q.
Some bouncy heavyness.

Jack Beats - Get Down

Q.
Two more.

The Ting Tings - Hands (Retro/Grade Remix) *removed on request

BOTNEK - Restatta

Q.
Haven't posted much Dubstep up of late. Basically, cus there's not much out there worth talking about or listening to, never mind posting up. I knew the scene would die as soon as it came about, like every other really. As soon as you start selling it to the masses (*&^?@!magneticman?&*!......ahem.) it loses any credibility. It lost its originality a while back....

Anyway, enough dubstep ranting. There are still tracks and producers that interest me. Here's two of them.

Sleigh Bells - Run The Heart (Bassnectar Remix)

Freestylers - Cracks (Flux Pavillion Remix)

(i do actually quite like some magnetic man tracks btw... i just hate people in general...)
Just a quicky.

The Aston Shuffle - I Wanna See You (DCUP Remix)

Q.

Not the greatest vid in the world... does alice no favors either....

Q
So i guess i've waited long enough on this. Massive track, thats likely to be removed, so if for some reason you haven't got it already, be quick!

Afrojack Ft. Eva Simons - Take Over Control (Adam F Remix)

Q.
Kinda back in the flow of things now, so just throwing a few tracks out to get things going. So much to catch up on, so little time..... 3 tracks with more than a splice of disco about them.

Kid Gloves - Bare Knuckle

Chromeo - Don't Turn The Lights On (Vodka & Milk remix)

Avicii and Sebastien Drums - My Feelings For You

Q.

Choose GRUM!!!!

Grum really has to be one of the hottest UK dj/producers out there right now. He can do no wrong. Great live sets, great album (out now) and he continues to role out the great remixes.

One of the first tracks of his i heard was his Passion Pit remix and now he's tackled another, which dare i say, is better still. I do dare, in fact, i dare to say, its flippin awesome!

And yet more, he's remixed the new wombats single, which i already liked, but now has a bit more discoey goodness to it. So once again people, its GRUM!

The Wombats - Tokyo (Vampires & Wolves) (Grum Remix)

Passion Pit - To Kingdom Come (Grum Remix)

Passion Pit Sleepyhead (Grum Remix) by GRUM

Check his myspace follow the links and support the artists we all love! (ya know, by buying music n tickets n shit....)

Q
Ive been looking for an excuse to post this up for what seems like months. I know Martin Solveig isnt exactly the edgy-est of dj's, but i love so many of his tracks. And judging by the amount of remixes every release gets, i'm far from alone.

The great little video that previewed the track ages ago has now been cut down for the single release. Hopefully this will get as much airplay over here as it does on the continent.....

Martin Solveig Ft. Dragonette - Hello (Sidney Samson remix)

Q.
Its Friday! Again! So why not a couple of big dance tracks for yous....

Firstly, i don't just not like the original Plan b track, i hate it, i really hate it. But this remix fixes it. Netsky isnt exactly breaking any walls down here, despite the hype, he's just damn good at making DnB.

Plan B - The Recluse (Netsky remix)

And this hUge tune from Herve. Again, its pretty standard, by his, uh, standards. Piano's with a heavy drop, that's his same old style, thats Herve. But its still so damn good, so yh, this is Herve.....boom.

Malachai - Snowflake (Herve remix)

Q.
I dont post a lot of indie/rock/electronica stuff anymore. Dance music has taken up much of what i listen to and post, but it still holds it place.

Here's a new band that landed in my inbox. I could give you all the blurb, but it would be easier to make your own mind up by listening to this track and going to their website.

Wild Party - Take My Advice
(soon to be touring the uk with the wombats)

Q.
Tis friday, so i guess it calls for some kind of heaviness in the form of dance music. Here's some!

Mohombi - Bumpy Ride (Chuckie remix)
*didnt actually know chuckie could go this heavy

Bart B More - Brap

(oh and check the herve vid below. Annoyed me for ages at Bestival, heard it a few times but only found out what it was afterwards. Big tune!)

Q.

Yep, i'm in the middle. EOTS tribute costume, except, shinier.

Q.
I'm off to Bestival for a few days, so no updates or posts for a bit. I'll leave you with this....

Grum - Through The Night (Grum Club Mix)

Q.
More from Dolby Anol.

There's a nice spacey disco, not chillwave...... remix of this from Edwin Van Cleef going around, go see (Stoney Roads).

This is a slightly more up tempo and definitely more electro version. Dolby Anol keep making some nice stuff and it'll only be a matter of time before they make that one big tune, that takes them onto every bloggers playlist. Keep watching...

Funkstar De Luxe - Do You Feel (Dolby Anol Remix)

Q.
CASSIUS!

Yeah, but, no. Cassius has obviously returned with ' I 3 U So', which is a great track and a big remix is expected soon. I like the original, but i feel a big dubstep producer grabbing holding of it would blast it more into the mainstream.

For now, i've already posted a nice Reset! remix of 'Youth, Speed, Trouble, Cigarettes' (have a look round for it) but i found this a few days back. Doesn't do much with it, but good all the same and will do to precede the enivitable 'i love u so' remix.

Cassius - The Sound Of Violence (Rooty Remix)

Q.
Two sure fire bangers from Drop The Lime.

Dunno why i didn't do this post up when i saw him live a few weeks ago, but anyway, two nice remixes for yous.

Drop The Lime - Devil's Eyes (Foamo Remix)

Drop The Lime - Sex Sax (Bart B More Remix)

Q.

IT WASNT, JUST ANY FOUNTAIN!

Well, i cant help but get a little excited about this track.

One of my favorite (if not the fav) live dj's has remixed, what im now pretty certain is, my favorite track of the year. And yes, it is good........

Art Vs Science - Magic Fountain (Kissy Sellout's Dark Crystal Remix)

Hopefully get some uk action from these guys again soonish. Kissy's radio 1 show airs from midnight every thursday. Which is awesome. But, not as awesome as his live sets, which all of you should rush and see, before, i dunno, he shaves, or something.....

anyway....... *deep breath* and relax........

Q.

Finally!

Finally got some visual things to go with Bag Raiders pre-album single release. The track itself def has some 'Cut Copy' feel about it (everyones gonna say that, but its true) and fits into that australian synthy-electro style that should be a genre, if it isnt already.
Anyways, its good and the album, which i'm sure will include some 'heavier' tracks, will be a must.

Some almost new stuff from some people i know nothing about! what more could u want?.....

I really like this tune though. Like i said, i don't know anything about Gamble and Burke or Phrenzy, but this probably the best of the remixes going. And that's saying something, considering Grum and Hot Pink Delorean both have great remixes to go with.

All i know is they're signed to Kitsune and this track sounds a lot like Chromeo (and i kinda thought it was all a joke to start with but anyway), its far from a bad thing. So i guess we can expect more goodness to come (incidentally, waiting on their collab with aeroplane, which sounds big...)

Gamble and Burke - Lets go together (Phrenzy remix)

Q.
I really don't mind that Fenech Soler are re-releasing 'Lies'. Its such a great track and got no where near enough airplay first time round.

Plus, this time, it comes with a load of remixes.

This one's from the brilliant Grum. Its a mark of how far he's come in a the past year or so also, that you can instantly recognise one of his tracks. Only the best producers have their own 'sound', grum is one of those. This lives up to that sound, aswell as being a more vocal mix. Which is good, cuz they sound frickin cool....

Fenech-Soler - Lies (Grum remix)

As i say every time i post a Fenech track up, GO AND SEE THEM LIVE. If i could, i would see them every week. They're awesome, 'Lie's' is awesome and i'll be more than devestated, if their new album isnt also a certain degree of awesomeness.

Q.

(castles of) Noise, Bass & Disco

As its friday, lets go crazy and do two post ups!!!!! my gods.

I love this track. Its been floating round the blogs for a while, but heard it pretty much in full, on kissy's show the other day.

Audiobot - Noize, Bass & Disco

Also listening to and loving, a lot of Delorean atm. see,

Q.

ahhhh friday, a good excuse to post up some ridiculous, ott heaviness. And for whatever reason, i havent put this up yet. Therefor,

Doctor P - Sweet Shop

Q.

Dolby Anol

Sometimes, no words can describe how frickin crazily awesome a track is. You just have to listen,

Dolby Anol - Cameroon

The duo have just released their 'visa mastercard' ep, which is ok (and is floating around hypem if you want em) but i like it slightly louder and noisier. Meaning........

Dolby Anol - Weapons Of Mass Distraction

Q.
Considering i havent been able to get away from the original 'One' for the last month (in the clubs, on the radio, even my nan is humming it......possibly) i still havent tired of it. Which might just be a weakness of mine, rather than actually how good it is.
Either way, more i say! Congorock, who has been supported from birth by this very blog, belted out yet another monster to accompany it. So i spose its about time i posted it up...

Swedish House Mafia - One ft. Pharrell Williams (Congorock remix)

A coupla ridiculous tracks to be posted soon............ish.

well, tomorrow.........probably.
hmph, bout time

great catchy pop song but kinda over it by now, vids nothing special either. shame......

Two great tracks from two great female solo artists. One, well into a successful a career and one, still in her teens, just starting out. Both make great pop music and both are loved on the blogs.

Which is more impressive in Sky's case. Mainly thanks to her past collaborations (The Shoes, The Bloody Beetroots, Aeroplane etc), her brilliant current single and......well, basically, her looks.

Robyn - Hang With Me (Starsmith Remix) *Great little rmx from Starsmith

Sky Ferreira - One (WAWA Remix) * still prefer the original, this is just a nice club mix

Look on the right to find the 'One' vid.

Q.
Posts seem to be slowing down of late. This will be remedied....

Cosmo Black - When night becomes the morn (DCUP remix)

Bonus, an oldie but a goodie.

Peter, Bjorn & John - It don't move me (The Knocks remix)

Q.
Grums getting more and more love on the blogs.

Its because he's good!

us in the know, uhm...... knew, this long ago........so there.

Everything Everything - MY KZ UR BF (Grum Remix)

plus these guys arent too bad either, finally getting some airplay.

Florrie's been bigged up on the blogs for a while now. Personally i'm not sure why. She seems pretty standard and i dont see any 'stand out', break through track, but we'll see if she has any commercial success. For now, a remix.

Florrie - Call 911 (Bart B More Remix)

Q.
Really like Sam La More. He carries the inherent genius genes shared by the rest of the Littlemore clan. Co-producing the next Pnau record as we speak. (probably...)

Miami Horror - Moon Theory (Sam La More Remix)

Tis only 128, so dont bitch after its downloaded..... He's just done an oz Ministry Of Sound 'In the club' mix, so if u can, go get it. Annoying a lot of his stuff isnt available outside of oz, but seek and you shall find... (twitter)

Q.
Start off with some french housey disconess.....

Louis La Roche - Sunshine Hotel *Still love Louis la roche. Crazy young and crazy good.

And some more, with a tad more electroness...

Wolfgang Gartner - Push/Rise (LightsoverLA Remix)

And, wait a minute, what was fidget-house again? oh thats right, something like this (possibly.....)

Dennis Ferrer - Hey Hey (Vandalism Remix)

Q.
wow, forgot how long a week in music can be.

Lots of new music to get stuck into, proper post coming soon!

For now....klaxons.

When do cool kids become too cool for their own good. Pretty sure it happened to The Klaxons way before they even started on this second album....... But anyway, i kinda like it, its just a bit....dull. As is the video. Needs something more. Maybe like, a klaxon or two? (or a french producer to get stuck into....)

Q.
Holiday. Go please yourself for a week.

I leave you with this.

Q.
This is heavy.

Its gonna be big, but didnt get played as much as i thought it would at glasto, considering they love their dubstep...

anyways. i like it. Finally a decent track from this much hyped 'super' trio.

Magnetic Man - I Need Air

Q.
Back from Glasto.

Some sort of review will soon follow, for now, songs n videos....

GLASTONBURY

has arrived.

Here's where im supposed to big up the biggest music festival in the world etc etc or rant on about how somehow, despite the atrocious prices and tidal waves of bs, it still claims to be a 'free spirited' hippy fest.

But i shall not.

I could post loads of tracks up from bands and producers im looking forward to seeing. Or the numerous relevant artists, that for some reason, arent on the bill.

But, i shall not.

Instead just one. One band that i havent seen, that im really looking forward to. That i must see.

The Drums - Saddest Summer

Yes! It was the Drums! Deal with it!

Q.
I quite like chew lips, they get a lot of love on the blogs, but they've never quite made the jump. Yet. You all know about Two door, everyone whos heard them, love them... pretty much.

But Netsky is new to me and getting some decent hype of late. In my eyes, pretty much standard DnB, but hey, what do i know...

All these are at glasto. A dedicated post up is soon to follow....

Chew Lips - Salt Air (Two Door Cinema Club remix)

Chew Lips - Karen (Netsky Remix)

Q.

Tis the world cup afterall....

Remember this from last year? And the endless amount of remixes it got...... Well here's a celebration...uh, well, at least, a nod in the direction of, the World Cup.
I dont pretend to know much about Dj Mujava, there's been nothing since this. But i like the track. Which is enough.

DJ Mujava - Township Funk (Sinden remix)

Also, i dont mind this track from K'naan, thats been picked up by coca cola as their world cup song. I dont mind K'naan, he seems genuine enough. But i cringe at Will.i.am and David guetta's involvement. Its made a half decent track into a ridiculous patronising, hypocritical, condescending, prentious piece of crap, that only re-inforces the differences between 'the west' and african nations. It happens all the time, so i shouldnt be surprised. But will.i.am singing 'we all struggling' just makes me throw up a little in my mouth. I guess he means well....i guess.... I mean, im sure he's is struggling. Its really hard to look after that much money. To decide which yacht to buy, what supercar to take out the garage. Do solid gold taps look tacky? granted, its a tough decision. Its not as if he's selling out and putting his name to any piece of crap that will chart well....... oh, wait.

anyway

Rant over.

Prententious hopers.

Still looking forward to the world cup tho. And England getting knocked out in the second round........

Q.
Random, disco'y remix from cassian.

Flight Facilities Ft. Giselle - Crave You (Cassian remix)

Q.

I need a break beat!

Some loud electronic noise for you. Not really breakbeat, but pretty much impossible to label HPD. Crazy and heavy is a about it......

Hot Pink Delorean - Party Favour (Hot Pink Delorean remix)

Q.
Did this post already. Saying about how every year you get a gypsy house track come along.

Dont know which one of these the retarded folk at the ymca, i mean, dmca have a problem with. So theres really only one way to find out.

firstly.

Yolanda Be Cool + Dcup - We no speak Americano

Q.

More disco...

Discovered Ben Mono a few days back. Waaay late, but i care not. He's good, so expect much more.....

Lorenz Rhode - Motor Cortex (Ben Mono remix)
****i like.

Q.
Beaches and ..... ..... banana hammocks.

Shoulda done this on friday. But im busy, so bleugh..

But anyway, that was pretty much an awesome weekend, fun in the sun. Feels like like summer again............. and so,

Wiley - Summertime (Crookers remix)

Q.

Human Life

Good remix, but nothing beats the original.

Look out for the Andy & Jaymo remix.

Human Life - In it together (Polygon Palace remix)

HUMAN LIFE - IN IT TOGETHER

*Bonus

Sleigh Bells - Tell 'em

Ok, ive left this one long enough. Beatport has had this available for about a week, so nows the time to share.....

Also, its a flippin awesome track. I love the original and probably like it more than this, but this is still pure heat. As mr Williams says, banger.

Uffie ft Pharrel Williams - ADD SUV (Armand Van Helden Vocal remix)

Also. Uffie news! She's playing bestival in september. As i'm going, this pleases me. Greatly. One more down on the list of acts that i haven't but want to see live......

Q.

Dont fucking tell me what to do

I like this.

I like Robyn.

Basically she makes acceptable pop music.

This track is crying out for a soulwax type (tiga?) remix. I like this original, but will be keeping an eye out for any decent attempts.....

Robyn - Don't fucking tell me what to do

Q.
Did i mention the chems are back with some luverly new material? dont think i ever did that post..... oh well, heres a vid to get u hyped about 'Further' and to remind you just how good they are.

Godfathers of dance music. Constantly pushing dance music forward and renewing their sound as they go. If youve seen em live, i needn't explain further..... Ahem. anyway.....

The vids nothing special, but as always, its different. This really has a familiar sound to it, that i cant quite put my finger on. I'm thinking Daft Punk, but then, you could say that about most dance records. Either way, i like it.

I'm posting this up cuz to me , it has the same feel as early chems stuff. Feels kinda 90's, Norman cook era. MIA's original isnt much of a tune and is really all about the vid. High Contrast basically fix it.

MIA - Born Free (High Contrast remix)

Q
More french anyone?

Cant get much more french than this. I mean listen to that bassline! Gotta be ripped straight from a Daft Punk song no?..........

(am i saying french to much?)

(also, its not exactly the friendliest of names, even if the tune is... "and that was Oh shit and Night drugs"....would love to hear Fearne cotton come out with that on daytime radio...)

Oh Shit! & Night Drugs - Everybody Needs (Bit Funk remix)

The original is pretty good, but of the numerous remixes, this one flows the best est.

Q.

Beating Hearts

Up until now, 2010 has seen only sprinklings of French house here and there. Disco, Electro, Funky, all making waves again, but its not french. French is french.
And so as the Ed Banger label gets into gear, other artists start to push through and begin a summer of touring, the sound starts to change again. For the better i may add.......

First up, Ocelot.

Ocelot - Beating Hearts (Blende Remix)

Example

I like Example. He seems like an alright kinda guy and makes some decent tracks. The thing i dont like about him is the way his music is promoted. Every track he does is 'glossed up' to sell to the general public. Maybe thats what u need to do now days, but it takes the edge of him a bit.

'Kickstarts' is produced by Sub Focus, although tbh, you wouldnt know it. As ever, his stuff is competent enough, but doesnt exactly have his 'stamp' on it. Still, Nicky can do no wrong atm and i much prefer the original to the sleugh of remixes that go with it. A remix for every sub-genre by the looks of things....again, trying too hard to sell the track, takes the edge off.

Ignoring all that, the track is a pretty good pop song. The fenech Soler rmx is prob the most interesting/different i suppose, altho afrojack's is pretty heavy.

Example - Kickstarts (Fenech-Soler remix)

Out 13th June.

Q.

New MIA vid......

pro·voc·a·tive

–adjective

Tending or serving to provoke; inciting, stimulating, irritating, or vexing.
.

Meet director Roman Gavras..... oh wait. You already know him from Justice 'Stress' video.....

Well, with that in mind, take at look at this......

M.I.A, Born Free from ROMAIN-GAVRAS on Vimeo.

Summer anthems

So, this is a bit of a change up from crystal castles. But these next two tracks are gonna be pretty successful this summer i would imagine. And to be fair, they are big tracks. Subsequently, they may well be ripped down, altho they are both are at 192.

So yh. Something more commercial for the ibiza gurners out there.....

Swedish House Mafia - One buy cd quality now from beatport

TV Rock - In the air (Axwell mix)

Q.

Vietnam

New Crystal castles.

Now i know everyone has been posting up their new stuff with the album leak etc, which has subsequently brought forward the release date. But i love em, so i cant resist a post up myself. Plus, this Vietnam track is pretty immense.

Its great to hear them back and also a welcome change up from the basslines and Disco, that ive been posting up so far.

New CC's, new Uffie, Justice and Klaxons round the corner....hmmm like the old days. (of 3 years ago...)

Crystal Castles - Vietnam

Q.
Hello world.

The new Crystal castles record has leaked, so go find it. And go buy it, when its out. And has a name... Crystal Castles 2 seems to be sticking....meh. As if album titles actually matter.....

However, im jumping the gun. Cuz thatll be next post.

Today feels like summer. Coachella (and its ridiculously impecable lineup) came round quick and whilst i'm nowhere near cali, its still pretty damn hot.

So, a song that is all about sun and festivals for me. Seven and a half minutes of summery perfection.

...ahhh the memories.....

Friendly Fires ft. Au Revoir Simone - Paris (Aeroplane Remix)

And the future memories ;-)

Q.
This is pretty kewl. Pretty damn good too.

Mike Posner - Cooler than me (Gigamesh remix)

I like Gigamesh. Getting better and better.

Q.
Some random crazy, heavy electro for you. Asian style......

Boris Dlugosch - Bangkok

Q.

Grum remix

This is really quite late, but uhhh, better than never? dont know, dont care. Leechers...

Anyways. I like the original from Goldfrapp, but this remix makes it a little bit better. Pure pop disco stuff, but curiously addictive, nonetheless...

Goldfrapp - Rocket (Grum remix)

Now i like Grum. A lot. Seen him live many times, been following his progression for ages and love most of his remixes. So i'm not gonna post his song up for free. However, saying all that, i dont actually like this track much. Far too close to funky house for my liking. Actually probably is funky house, but cant bring myself to say it.....

Grum - Can't Shake This Feeling on Vimeo

Also #relevant# Mylo is on the way back this year, with new stuff dropping very soon and various festival dates confirmed. Just thought id share.....

Oh Nooooooooo!!!

More from bloggers fav Marina and her intoxicating vocals. Nice remix to boot.

Grab 'oh no' fast, cuz its likely to be her next single, so wont be up long....

Marina & The Diamonds - Oh No!

Marina & The Diamonds - Obsessions (Monsieur Adi remix)

Q.

Penguin prison and the shoes!

Quite liking Penguin Prison. But they're best stuff comes from other people.....

A coupla remixes.

Penguin Prison - Something i'm not (Krispin Korg remix)

Penguin Prison - Worse it gets (Starsmith remix)

Both Penguin Prison and Starsmith have remixed 'I am not a robot'. However, The Shoes version is a bit dif from both. Plus, being a fan of pretty much everything they have done so far, this is a nice reminder about the duos forthcoming return. #english dates please...........

Marina & The Diamonds - I am not a robot (The Shoes remix)

Gotta love the orginal also.... (almost a year old!...re-released for the masses ;-)
Tdcc have been a refreshing addition to my headphones over the last few months. Making brilliantly catchy, indie-crossover pop songs. Something that the music world was lacking for a while. They smash it live, so go see em if you can.

Now i love the original. But i think i may like this just a little bit more.... (i mean, come one! check out the work on the Cowbell! next frickin level ......)

Two Door Cinema Club - Something good can work ( The Twelves remix)

Sub Focus - Move higher ft Culture Shock *Good, but the drop is nowhere near as strong as it should be

Priors - What you need (Hey Champ remix)

The XX - Crystalised (Popular Damage assimilation)

Sub Focus - Let the story begin
*This is why we love Nicky. Noisy.....

Lady Gaga ft. Beyonce - Telephone (Crookers get bouncy remix)
*I know its not new, but, ive been listening to 'Tons of friends' for two weeks straight, so felt the need to post up something Crookers...
Another bundle for yous......

Marina & The Diamonds - I am not a robot (Passion Pit remix)

Jamaica - I think i like u 2

Boys Noize & Erol Alkan - Lemonade

Hmmmmm, something a little heavier? well, tis the wknd, so, HELL YES BITCHES.....

Laidback Luke & Benny Benassi - Bring the house noise

Laidback Luke - Blogger

This next one is big. Like the original, which got the blogs drooling, this is heavyiness.

Congorock - Babylon (DJ Manaia & Alif Remix)

And this, which i kinda like. I gotta feeling Hypercrushs' 'Keep Up', their next single, is gonna make a big splash over here, to break them into the British market. Its a good pop song and this la roux remix, altho nothing ground breaking, ain't too bad either.

La Roux - Bulletproof (Hypercrush remix)

check Hadouken!

Hadouken unleash the biggest track of the year so far.

Check...(ahem) the vid.

Hadouken - Mic Check from Blake Claridge on Vimeo.

Also, the opening track from their brilliant 'For the masses'. A nice taster of what the records all about. An album that you really, really, should own by now...

Hadouken! - Rebirth

Q.

8 track(s)

So, big post. Different styles, genres and levels of awesomeness.

They get heavier as they go down. But all are pretty damn amazing. admit it.......

Lo Fi Fnk - Marchin in
*unavoidably addictive

Groove Armada - Paper Romance (Classixx remix)

Penguin Prison - Animal Animal (Kissy Sellout Klub mix)
*made it good

A-Trak/Drake/Birdman - Loonies to blow

Lee Mortimer & Foamo - Superman

The Bloody Beetroots - Ill to destroy *nice

The Mould - South Ghetto
*heavy russian shizzle!

Rusko - Woo Boost (SBSKRPT remix) *just about acceptable

Most of these are down to other blogs, so well done to yoooouuu. Go big up yourself! or, uh, something to that extent.....
Castles of noise has re-directed you here.

Castlesofnoise has been removed by our ever wise masters at google and blogger. This will be resolved.

For now, i will be posting up as much as possible here.

please know this.

I HATE YOU ALL.
